Distracted Drivers Want Improved Safety, No Changes in Behavior

ข้อมูลby Tumberer » Mon Mar 04, 2013 5:10 pm

The results of the study showed that 4 out of 5 drivers questioned had done something behind the wheel that was considered a distraction from driving. Not every activity was as damning as texting or emailing while driving, however. Things like drinking a beverage while driving were included into the category of distracting behaviors. Overall, the participants of the study performed 37 individual actions that pulled their focus off the road for some period of time. The most common act was taking or making a cell phone call, which was done 11 times a month on average. Next was drinking a beverage, coming in at 8 times each month, then texting at 5, and emailing at 3.
