Dinning on the opposite bank of the Chao Praya River, Sala Rim Naam offers a fantastic choice of Thai dining.

Sala Rim Naam Restaurant situated in the Oriental Hotelโ€™s signature Thai restaurant has recently been transformed into a mini royal palace serving fine Thai cuisine. A lavish Thai buffet lunch is also served daily and guests can enjoy a gourmet set dinner menu accompanied by the regionโ€™s most spectacular cultural performance and dance show nightly. A welcome addition is the Sala Rim Naam Lounge, an open-air pavillion, adjacent to the restaurant overlooking the splendid Chao Phraya River.

Housed in a richly decorated Thai pavilion, originating from Northern Thailand, the restaurant is also the setting for one of the kingdomโ€™s unique cultural experiences - classical Thai dancing, performed before your table every night. Itโ€™s the perfect accompaniment to such lavish cuisine.

The Orientalโ€™s Executive Thai Chef Vichit Mukuraโ€™s authentic Thai cuisine menu at the Sala Rim Naam includes a vast array of sumptuous Thai dishes and live stations for its lunch buffet, including traditional Thai favourites dishes.

Sala Rim Naam serves a buffet lunch and set-menus for dinner, or choose to dine al fresco at the Terrace Rim Naam which offers an exotic a la carte menu at night. Choice menu items include Gaeng khiew waan gai (Green curry with chicken and eggplants), Plaa ghoong (Spicy grill prawn salad with aromatic Thai herbs), Satay gai, moo, nuea (Grilled skewered chicken, pork and beef with peanut sauce and cucumber salad relish), Tom khaa gai (Chicken soup with coconut milk and galangal), Tom yam ghoong (Spicy blue river-prawn soup with lemongrass and straw mushrooms), and Yam som-o (Herbed pomelo salad with prawns, chicken ribbons and stuffing).

The Sala Rim Naam is open daily for buffet lunch (@Baht 1,060 including tax and service) from 12 noon until 3.00 pm, and set dinner with classical dance show (@Baht 2,650 including tax and service) from 7.00 pm until 11.00 pm, and the Sala Rim Naam Lounge from 10.00 am until 11.00 pm. Live music entertainment until 11.00 pm nightly.
