Bangkok Restaurants - Thai Cuisine
Ban Khun Mae Restaurant The restaurant located at the heart of Siam Square, this restaurant is housed in a small and homely unit that occupied two storeys.
A hot favourite, not only among the tourists, but also with the local Thais. I wasn't aware of its good local food fare
till my business counterpart in Thailand told me to check out this place during my free time - since it's so near to my
hotel.
Well, it was a good decision for me to try this place after a long day of walking. It's a cosy place with good service
and most importantly, good food. It's pretty crowded but the standard of the food is not compSromised.
Soft drink, fish cakes, pineapple rice and "red rubies" - and guess what, the cost is only 226 Baht, you enjoy the
comfort of good food at restaurant environment.
Truly authentic thai restaurant. Food is classic. Ambience is cozy and warm. Music is soft and nice and plays from ย7-10 pm.
Indulge yourself from a classic thai menu comprising of myriad of spicy, savoury and sweet dishes all prepared by top
lady chefs in the true thai tradition. I like the sauteed morning glory and chicken with cashew nuts. Some of the best
sellers are the following,
Kung Ob Woon Sen- baked seasoned prawn with glass noodles. Kaw Kriab Pak Mor-steamed flour wrapped with sweet turnip, crushed roasted peanuts, coriander root and garlic
served with chili and vegetables. Tom Yum Gung-shrimp in sour and spicy soup. Kra Tong Tong-minced chicken and sweet corn in pastry shell. ย ย ย ย Ban Khun Mae Restaurant 458/7-9 Siam Square, Soi 8, Rama I Rd, Prathumwan, Bangkok
