This gracious museum was originally built in 1965, was initially known as Empress Palace Museum. The highlights include various artifacts pertaining to rich history and cultures of Singapore. It also houses some amazing art exhibits from Southeast Asia.  The opening hours are 9am to 7pm from Tuesday to Sunday, and on Monday the timing is from 1pm to 7pm. Entry fee is $8 for adults and $4 for students and senior citizens.
