Nestled on the bank of Kwai River, Kanchanburi is far-famed town owing to its role as a POW camp in World war II. The town has many interesting sites which have great historical importance and some good opportunities for trekking, rafting and forest camping. Surrounding scenery and appealing tradtions & cultures here are also the major attractions for travelers.
