Khao Hin Lek Fai
Khao Hin Lek Fai the meaning in thai mean that "Flintstone Hill" is located about 1.5 km west of the city center and provides a panoramic view of Hua Hin, the Royal Hua Hin Golf Course below and the Gulf of Thailand beyond the town.
It is situated about 3km west of the town centre. Follow Chomsin Road over the railway line and instead of bearing right with the road to Pala U, keep going straight ahead. It's a steep climb to the top, but worth it once you're there.
There are 3-4 lookout spots and it's a popular location with locals, especially at sundown which is arguably the best time to go. Try all the lookouts as they offer views in different directions, you can see as far south as Khao Takiab and beyond and north towards Cha-am.
There is a new park at the top of the hill with many flowers, shrubs, trees and bamboo groves. Next to the first view point there is a statue of king Rama VII with an information about his life. Next to the parking is a exotic birds centre.

A new park at the top of the hill with many flowering plants and shrubs inter-planted with the indigenous trees and bamboo groves though it will be a few years before they provide much shade. Concrete paths meander through the park leading to lookout spots with breathtaking vistas.
Though not exactly a mountain, the road to the top is a mite steep. I haven't made it all the way on my mountain bike yet and recommend motor vehicle transport for anyone but the very hardy.

Paths are through the park leading to lookout spots with breathtaking views. It is worth to see all three see view points as they show diffrent paronamic view of Hua Hin. The best time to go when there is a clear day.
The road to the top is very steep. Only very strong should try to make their way to the top on bike. Vehicle transport is recommended. On the way to hill you visit some temples.
